Tuition

SDJA utilizes an enhanced security protocol to ensure the safety of all of our students, staff, and families. A $450 non-refundable fee is added to the tuition annually per family.

Application Fee (new families): A non-refundable $100 application fee is required for each application submitted.

Lion Parent Organization (LPA) Dues: All ECC programs include a $120 fee for LPA dues. This fee is included in the tuition rates listed above for each program.

Please note that there may be an additional charge for overnight trips and local excursions in some grades.

In the recent past, prices have ranged as follows:

• Local excursions and retreats:  $100-$500
• Extended overnight experiential education (Upper School): $900 - $4,000
• Senior Trip to Israel and Poland $8,000+

This program was established to provide families of students in all grades the opportunity to ensure a portion of the tuition obligation is met in case of an unforeseen need to withdraw a student. Participation in the plan is required for all families choosing tuition payment plans 2, 3, or 4 and optional for families who decide on payment plan 1. Through FACTS Management Company, San Diego Jewish Academy can provide a convenient online method for tuition payments. SDJA payment options include the cost in total, semi-annual, and monthly payments from checking, savings, or credit card account.

Please note:
All K-12 payment plan options require balances to be paid in full by April annually, regardless of the payment start date.
All ECC payment plans, balances must be paid in full by May each year, regardless of the payment start date.
