We have a proud culture of philanthropy at SDJA

At SDJA, we have a culture of philanthropy that is vital to the student experience. Current parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni students, and many others make philanthropic donations in a range of levels throughout the school year. These contributions help enhance the educational experience for our students, and enable us to attract and retain high quality teachers, provide cutting edge learning experiences, ensure the safety and security of our students and teachers on campus, provide needs-based tuition assistance, and other top priorities of the school.

Your gift makes an impact on our community

When you give to SDJA, you are contributing to more than just a school. For many families, SDJA is their center for Jewish community. It's where they create lasting friendships, celebrate holidays, and enjoy other moments rich in Jewish culture. By contributing to SDJA, families and supporters are contributing to vibrant Jewish life in San Diego. These contributions go directly to addressing the most important needs of our school:

  • Attracting and retaining excellent teachers, and providing them with high quality professional development.
  • Supporting the educational experience that offers every student the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive.
  • Maintaining our exceptional campus, with unique learning opportunities in our garden, performing arts auditorium, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking, and more.
  • Providing needs-based tuition assistance to help make SDJA more accessible to more families in the community.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students and families.
  • Supporting exceptional dual-curriculum, bringing Israel to campus, and building community through the celebration of Jewish holidays.
