How you can support us

The ImPACT Fund

San Diego Jewish Academy’s ImPACT Fund provides the essential resources to fulfill our mission each year. Your gift to the ImPACTFund allows us to enhance our educational programs and curriculum in our facilities and helps us provide need-based tuition assistance.

Legacy Gifts

Legacy gifts ensure the financial strength of SDJA for future generations. With your legacy gift, you demonstrate your generosity and commitment to the SDJA community, impacting the school and its students for years to come. Additionally, you become a distinguished member of our L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Society with your legacy gift. Your name will be engraved on our Pillars of Honor, located at the heart of the SDJA campus.

There are many ways to make a legacy gift to SDJA:

  • Include SDJA to your will or living trust
  • Create an endowment or named fund
  • Make a gift of real estate
  • Designate SDJA as a beneficiary on a new or existing insurance policy
  • Make a gift from your pension or another tax-deferred plan

Lion’s Society

The SDJA Lion’s Society recognizes the individuals and organizations whose generous annual support helps the Academy fulfill its mission each year.

Mitzvah Circle

Lion’s Society members who make annual gifts of $5K or more. Benefits include:

  • Private dinner with the Head of School and other school leadership (for circle members at the $50K+ level).
  • Invitation to SDJA’s exclusive annual Mitzvah Circle Dinner.
  • Reserved seating at various events.
  • Special annual appreciation gift. All benefits of the Chai and Tzedakah Circles.

Chai Circle

Lion’s Society members who make annual gifts of $1,800-$4,999. Benefits include:

  • Annual conference call with the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • All benefits of the Tzedakah Circle.

Tzedakah Circle

Lion’s Society members who make annual gifts of $360-$1,799. Benefits include:

  • Recognition in the online Community Impact Report.
  • Quarterly impact report.

Kehillah Circle

Lion’s Society members who make annual gifts of up to $359. Benefits include:

  • Recognition in the online Community Impact Report.

Sabbim/Grandparents Circle

Recognizes grandparents who make a generous annual gift to SDJA of $1,800 or more. Benefits include:

  • Reserved seating at Grandparents & Special Friends Day.
  • Special recognition at Grandparents & Special Friends Day.
  • Invitations to special grade-level events (when applicable).
  • Recognition in the Annual Community Impact Report.
  • Quarterly SDJA Communication.

President’s Circle

Recognizes past Board Presidents who made a generous annual gift of $1,800 or more. Benefits include:

  • Special recognition at the bi-annual Past President’s Breakfast.
  • Annual one-on-one meeting with the Head of School, current Board President, and the Director of Advancement.
  • Invitation to and reserved seating at the annual SDJA commencement ceremony.
  • Recognition in the Annual Community Impact Report.
  • Quarterly SDJA Communication.

L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Society

Recognizes donors who’ve made planned gifts to the school including bequests, named endowments, or gifts of life insurance. Benefits include:

  • Invitation to the annual legacy event.
  • Special recognition at various SDJA and Jewish Community Foundation events.*
  • Exclusive invitations to special Jewish Community Foundation events.*
  • Special Appreciation gift.
  • Annual one-on-one meeting with the Director of Advancement and Chairs of the L’Dor V’Dor Legacy Society.
  • Recognition in the Annual Community Impact Report.

Matmid/Loyalty Distinction

Donors who have made gifts to SDJA for five (5) or more consecutive years will receive special recognition in the Annual Community Impact Report.
