Empowering students to learn for life

Guided by Jewish values and rooted in strength of community

At the San Diego Jewish Academy, we blend modern education and curriculum design with deeper purpose and traditional Jewish values to cultivate successful learners and exceptional human beings. Students receive a superior educational experience within an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Three schools, one vibrant community

From early childhood to 12th grade--and everything in between--we are one SDJA family, supporting and strengthening each other.

Meet Andrew

Maimonides Upper School

My favorite part of the community here is the fact that everyone is supporting you no matter what you're doing. Everyone's always cheering for you, and it's great; we are very lucky to have that. As a senior, I will most definitely miss the strong sense of community and the relationships that I've created.

Kayla, an SDJA alumnus

"SDJA gave me more than just an education; the school and community showed me what it means to be a student of Torah and Jewish history, a true mensch (good person), a lover of Israel and a speaker of Hebrew, a friend, a learner, a teacher, and a leader."

Joseph Galicot

"My time at SDJA was important in shaping my personal development and Jewish values. The size of SDJA encouraged me to participate in a variety of extracurriculars, like sports, chess, and volunteer work, allowing me to learn important leadership skills. This balance of experiences has allowed me to find success in college, academically and socially."
