Preparing our students for success beyond the classroom
Program Overview
The high school experience is one of engagement, action, and community. Our students are the protagonists of the school. They are empowered to lead and expected to activate the vibrant campus community. At SDJA, education takes place not only in the traditional classroom setting but throughout the campus - in the quad, in the arts and music studios, at Minyan, on experiential education excursions, and in the interscholastic sports program. Co-curricular activities are a vital part of the school program for all students, and SDJA students routinely share that they learn as much outside of the classroom as they do inside.
Through a thoughtful design process, the SDJA high school curriculum integrates the humanities, science, math, Jewish thought, practices, and values to inspire our students to thoughtfully approach opportunities in any field, subject, or life circumstance with the curiosity to ask significant questions, and the confidence to to implement solutions.
