Head of School Search

Head of school search update

San Diego Jewish Academy is beginning the important process of selecting our next Head of School. We approach this search with a strong commitment to identifying an exceptional leader who will build on SDJA’s strengths and guide the school into its next chapter.

The search process will be informed by input from across the SDJA community, including parents, faculty and staff, students, alumni, and other key stakeholders. These perspectives will help shape the priorities and leadership qualities we seek in our next Head of School.

This website will serve as the central resource for information about the search, including updates on the process and timeline, opportunities for community engagement, important announcements, and frequently asked questions.

We are committed to conducting a thoughtful, thorough, and transparent search and look forward to keeping our community informed throughout the process. Feel free to email Meredith Smiedt and Sonia Mandelbaum at search@sdja.com with any questions. Thank you!
